© 2017 Thousand Word Images by Dustin Abbott I just did another tirp to the fabulous Chateau Montebello in Quebec. I'll be writing about the Chateau in summer soon, but I wanted to share this image I took of my wife while exploring some new areas of the property. This grand old ballroom/salle had a very rich, timeless quality, with very heavy curtains leaving it (at the time) all in shadow. I had Lana go and crack one of the curtains to look out the window, and the resulting shot captured a lot of the ambiance of being in this big, empty room. Here in this room... (P.S. I'm reviewing Sigma's DN line of lenses for Sony mirrorless and will be reporting on them soon). Thanks for helping this image make it into Flickr's Explore at position 38 Technical Information: Sony a6500 + Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DN Contemporary | Processed in Adobe Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC, and Alien Skin Exposure X2 (use code "dustinabbott" to get 10% off) Want to know more about me or make contact?
