Drawing Inka stonework lines provides a significant challenge of linear perspective combined with great irregularity. Due to the construction materials, shaped to respect the original forms and sizes of rocks and landforms, a sensuality of curve persists. Not unlike the human form, these shapes then have to be incorporated into a mix of vanishing points and foreshortening techniques characteristic of figure drawing.
