A colony of Nerita ornata or N. scabricosta, huddled in a crack and waiting for the tide to return. Nerita are small sea snails that live in the upper to middle tidal zones of tropical waters . Also visible are colonies of barnicles (poss. chthamalus), the blue bits in the cracks.
