Visit one of my Seven Wonders of the World!!! The largest Litter Box on Planet Earth !!! WOW !!! Just imagine, white sand as far as I can see !!! And for only $5 you and ME can (ok, might) win a week of absolute luxury right here !!! I'm so excited. This wonderful lady Sam VanSant GAVE us a week on the beach at Sand Dollar Cottages. We can go any time in November, December or January. We could even spend Christmas together here !!!! You just have to schedule your trip around my speaking engagements. A WEEK a whole wee for ONLY $5. Or really take the plunge .... for $25 you can have 6 tickets !!!! Ahhhh can't you see it now? Getting up late, gorging on Fancy Feast, licking our paws clean, strolling up and down the beach, a little scratching here, a little scratching there, a morning snack of Fancy Feast, a snooze in the sun, a picnic lunch, just you and me and a can of Fancy Feast (eat your own slop, humanoid, this can belongs to me, grrrrr), more digging in this endless sandbox. And hey, from your human point of view - you won't have to scoop!!!! But leave it to Kerry and those humans to mess things up for me. We could have just kept this week and run off to the beautiful white sand. Kerry and me. Nothing for Kerry to do but opening cans and nothing for me but eating, sunning and sanding ... but no, oh no says Kerry, you and me aren't going anywhere Vincent, we have work to do. We, ok I, have 1206 critters other than YOU to feed and take care of. So Kerry says we're going to raffle this week off. Just this morning she shouted at me that if I didn't shut up and stop nagging for another can of Fancy Feast she even be willing to raffle me off too !!!! I'm a very valuable asset to Rikki's so that would be one heck of a sacrifice. And I know she really loves me. Even if she limits my Fancy feast intake to 14 cans a day. SO HERE'S THE DEAL. You can spend a FREE week at Sand Dollar Cottages on the south west coast of Florida. Don't ask Kerry and Fred about their vacation to Sanibel Island, a little south of here, once upon a time. Many years ago, before they had me to take care of, back in the days they were allowed vacations. They loved it so much they kept extending their vacation a day, another day and barely made it home in time to get Jimmy back in school. www.sanddollarcottages.com/ MANASOTA KEY IS AN ENCHANTING BARRIER ISLAND off the coast of Englewood where there are no high-rises, no traffic lights, just a two-lane road and pristine Beaches. A funky little place, just like the places your parents used to rent at the beach when you were a kid, with 6 little cottages and an "old Florida" feel. It truly is like stepping back in time. Relax and play a lot while you are here. Just think of all that sand, that pristine sand (before I get there!!). Ahhh nice and quiet and on your time. Not one of those loud, always jumping, over crowded Club Med type things. A nice quiet week, where you can pace your activities, escape from everybody, turn off the cell phone and say there's no reception there! I'll back you up if you take me with you. www.rikkisrefuge.org/Rikkis/BeachRaffle.html JUST 270 STEPS TO THE BEACH! 100 yards down Sand Dollar Lane enjoy the Gulf or the Bay, shelling, lounging, playing in the sand. Located on Manasota Key, a very narrow barrier island and equidistant to the Gulf and the Bay (Lemon Bay - Intercostal Waterway). Very quiet and peaceful. Great local restaurants, 3 right on the Key and many just a short drive over the bridge. Dogs are NOT allowed on the beach (so they can't chase me) but the unit is pet-friendly. 1 week - for your use in November, December or January - YOU get to pick your week. 2 bedrooms / 1 bath (who needs that with all the sand....) King in master bedroom (that's me King of Cats right there in YOUR bed!) max 4 guests (not counting me, I'm free to take) Pet friendly but you must supply details of what you are bringing: breed, not size, and all pets must be approved in advance. For insurance purposes, pit bulls, rotties, chows and some others are not allowed. Not our choice but dictated by insurance....sorry, as us and our donor knows dogs in those breeds are not bad but the insurance company has its rules. Rules, rules, rules, I can tell them what to do with their rules ..... Address: 120 Sand Dollar Lane, Englewood, FL 34223 Only 270 steps to the beach! 100% of the proceeds of this raffle will go to feed and medical care for the animals of Rikki's Refuge! Thanks go to Sam VanSant for this wonderful donation! Drawing will be on October 31,2009 at 3 pm and you do not need to be present to win. Kerry made me say that. She had the gall to come in here and erase what I'd written. But I'll tell you what I thought the rule should be. You must be opening a can of Fancy Feast for Vincent at the time of the drawing to win. But oh NO Kerry thinks she always gets to make the rules with her opposable thumbs and all that. So buy your raffle ticket now OUR raffle ticket - $5 for one measly ticket or SIX tickets for $25 .... www.rikkisrefuge.org/donate.php?purpose=Beach COME ON, DON'T SKIMP. GET US TO THE BEACH. And if you don't want to go just imagine what kind of a gift this could be for a friend or somebody in your family. Just think of a vacation together with a friend you haven't seen for a long time! Wouldn't that be cool !!! You can really get double duty here - they'll think you're rich and famous if you give them a WHOLE week of fun in the sun AND you can go too!!!! Kerry's locked my pass code out of paypal or I'd be buying tickets right and left and I'd take YOU with me. So you've gotta buy tickets for US - PLEASE. And hey, even if you can't away, you could always spring a few bucks on a ticket and give the week to Kerry!!!! She'd love to get away with me for a week. And her Dad's just on the other side of Florida, just about due east, so she could invite him over too!! Now would that be nice or what? GET YOUR RAFFLE TICKET NOW, $5 FOR 1, $25 FOR 6, a week at the beach between Nov 1 and Jan 31, drawing Oct 31, 3 pm. www.rikkisrefuge.org/donate.php?purpose=Beach
