The Vienna International Centre (VIC) is the campus and building complex hosting the United Nations Office at Vienna. Some days ago I spent some hours there to take some shots of that so impressive part of Vienna. Vor einigen Tagen besuchte ich die UNO City in Wien. Ein Fest für Auge und Kamera und Motive wie geschaffen für mein Distagon. Das Vienna International Centre (VIC, deutsch Internationales Zentrum Wien, oft synonym als UNO-City bezeichnet ist ein Amtssitzzentrum für internationale Organisationen im 22. Wiener Gemeindebezirk, Donaustadt. Es wurde 1973–1979 von der Republik Österreich und der Stadt Wien nach den Plänen des österreichischen Architekten Johann Staber errichtet. Österreich hatte den Vereinten Nationen (UNO) 1967 ein solches Internationales Zentrum angeboten.
