NAVFAC Hawaii EDP Graduates Complete Their One-Year Program

Nine employees received certificates from NAVFAC Hawaii Commanding Officer Capt. Richard Hayes at the 2017 Employee Development Program (EDP) Graduation ceremony Jan. 9 held in the Ford Island Conference Center, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Congratulations Graduates! Greg Apo (PRJ3512) Painter, Anella Borges (PW6A) Program Analyst, Greg Castro (CI45) Civil Engineer, Jackson Cho (CIO2) Information Technology Specialist, Steven Chow (OPD) Mechanical Engineer, Jewel Fautanu (PWTR73) Weight Handling Equipment Director, Bryon Miller (PRJ3517) Engineering Equipment Operator Leader, Ravi Mohandie (EV1) Environmental Engineer, and David Prem (PRJ3553) Maintenance Mechanic Leader. The EDP is a NAVFAC Hawaii one-year career enhancement program for employees who are looking for training and development experience to broaden their understanding of other functions at the command and gain an understanding of roles and responsibility of supervisors and leaders. Each year in the fall a call goes out for interested employees to apply for the program. Selection is made late in the calendar year and the new class is announced in early January when the previous class graduates.
