Agriculture in Ireland starts and ends at home. While visiting my family, I was overwhelmed with the sense of pride and craft each farmer has for his/her product. From morning tea to dinner dishes, my mother’s cousins look over their crops and cattle. Intimacy with our land is lost through industrialization. In Ireland, this relationship has been preserved throughout family generations.
